Offered for auction in this lot is a Mark Grace professional model Rawlings game used bat from his 1996 season with the Chicago Cubs. Model number 256B is stamped on the knob along with Grace's uniform number 17 written in blue sharpie while Mark's name and Cubs are stamped in block letters on the barrel of this Big Stick used by Grace to accumulate more hits than any other player in the 1990's.

This natural finished ash bat currently weighs 32 ounces, measures 34" in length and matches known player factory records with a regular knob and round barrel. It exhibits heavy signs of use with numerous barrel markings, deeply embedded stitch marks and bat rack marks. (Q0014)

Bat receives 5 points for matching known player factory records and 3 points for use resulting in a final grade of MEARS A8.
