Featured in this lot is an autographed Alex Diaz professional model Louisville Slugger game used bat sourced directly from County Stadium during his 1993 season with the Milwaukee Brewers. Model number F123 is stamped on the barrel along with Alex Diaz and Milwaukee Brewers in block letters. Diaz's uniform number 1 is written on the knob in black marker and Diaz has signed the barrel in blue sharpie.
This flame treated ash bat currently weighs 30 ounces and measures 33.5" in length and matches known player factory records. Medium signs of use are present in the form of ball marks, stitch marks and bat rack marks. The handle remains uncracked.
Bat receives 5 points for matching player records, 2 points for use and 1 point for a documented uniform number resulting in a final grade of MEARS A8.
