Featured in this lot is an Alex Gonzalez professional model Cooper game used bat from his 1999 campaign with the Florida Marlins. Model number 271G appears on the barrel along with Alex Gonzalez in script lettering. Gonzalez's uniform number 8 is written on the knob in silver sharpie.
This black ash bat currently weighs 32 ounces, measures 34" in length and matches known player factory records with a regular knob and round barrel. Bat exhibits signs of heavy use with numerous ball marks, deeply embedded stitch marks, bat rack marks, cleat marks and a 12" handle crack with light separation. (Q0024)
