Before Prince Fielder was a household name and perennial MVP candidate, he was a minor leaguer trying to make a place for himself on the Brewers roster. This 32 ounce, 33.5-inch Sam Bat was used by the top prospect during his time in the minors. The maple bat has the model number PS2 (on barrel). The bat matches recorded player specifications and exhibits heavy use, expressed with heavy ball marks, deeply embedded stitch marks, rack marks and an 8-inch crack (with a small missing piece). Fielder signed the barrel of the bat in black marker.
Comments: Small taping of knob, 4-inch area of concentrated pinetar, heavy ball marks on both sides of barrel, custom "Prince" symbol on barrel.
