Fresh to the hobby, bat collectors have the rare opportunity to add "the Grey Eagle" to your game used collection.
Manufactured by Hillerich & Bradsby during the 1921-28 period, "Tris Speaker" is factory applied on the barrel end. Due to the high quality of the wood and the presence of a knot in the general area, the barrel stamp appears somewhat light and has separated along the grain.
Pre-model number during this period, the bat currently measures 35" and weighs 39 ounces, both supported by H&B personal bat records.
Game use is measured as heavy, with deeply embedded stitch marks found on the barrel. Handle remains uncracked. Handle has been taped.
