The 1954 Topps baseball set is historic for a few reasons, namely the first cardboard issues of legendary sluggers Hank Aaron and Al Kaline. But regular cards of Duke Snider, Whitey Ford, Warren Spahn, Jackie Robinson, Yogi Berra, Gil Hodges and Ernie Banks also help shape the set into what it is today. Oh yeah, we didn't even mention that Ted Williams bookends the simple, yet refined, third installment of Topps baseball cards. America's youth spent countless hours putting together the set, which was broken up into three series.
This complete set includes every card graded by the experts at PSA. We are pleased to report none dips below EX 5 status and most fall to the EX-MT 6 to NM 7 level. The Aaron (#128) and Kaline (#201) rookies are both stellar PSA NM 7s. The arduous work going in to putting together such a high grade set was one involving painstaking long hours and grading fees but it had to be a labor of love as well.
