Boy, it is hard to believe it was once this easy to obtain a game worn jersey. All a collector had to do was write a team and politely ask.
One smart collector wrote the Padres in hopes of securing a gamer for his/her collection. The Padres promptly responded with this Calvin Schiraldi game worn button up garment and a note on team letterhead.
The offered size "46" pinstriped garment shows signs of good use with dirt/staining on the right side and identifier softness/fraying.
The numbers and NOB are applied in two-color tackle twill and "SCHIRALDI" is spaced directly to the verso. Secured in the inside tail are these tags: Rawlings size "46", "2 Inch Extra Length" and "Set 1 1989" flag tag.
The team LOA will attend and offer further authentication.
