For three years Grand Studio produced Milwaukee Brewers 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" in honor of the hometown heroes. According to the 2011 Standard Catalog of Baseball Cards (Bob Lemke) these were most likely sold at Borchert Field during the season.
Leftover relics from when the Milwaukee Brewers were a minor league team, this complete set of 22 black and white cards features dazzling shots and facsimile signatures of 1943 Brewers players.
These high grade card average EX/MT and border on a grade higher. Included are: Tommy Nelson, Bill Sahlin, Tony York, Don Johnson, Paul Erickson, Wes Livengood, Ted Norbert, Hershell Martin, Bill Norman, Joe Berry, Charles Sproull, Hank Helf, Bob Bowman, Earl Caldwell, Jimmy Pruett, Red Smith, Hugh Todd, Grey Clarke, Henry Oana (listed at $125 NM this example is EX/MT), Charlie Grimm, Frank Secroy and Merv Conner.
Also included is the original envelope, albeit in a reduced state.
