Hall of Famer Carl Yastrzemski played his entire 23-year career with the Boston Red Sox, primarily as a left fielder, with part of his later career played at first base and as a designated hitter. An 18-time all-star, the possessor of seven gold gloves, a member of the 3000 hit club, and was the first American League player in that club to also accumulate over 400 home runs, "Yaz" is second on the all-time list for games played, and third for total at-bats. He is the Red Sox all-time leader in career RBIs, runs, hits, singles, doubles, total bases, games played, and is second on the list for home runs behind another Red Sox great, Ted Williams.
Carl ordered these 34-inch, 32 oz bats throughout the entire period of this bat's mfg. This stellar example shows heavy game use with deeply embedded stitch marks on all sides with cleat marks, rack marks, swelling and it remains uncracked with perfect markings and a nice original finish with his faded number 8 in black marker on the knob.
