Baseball great Ralph Kiner lugged this bat to the plate at some point during his storied playing career.
Offered is a 34-inch, 33 oz signature model G69L that shows heavy game use with perfect markings. The bat has mounting holes on both ends and an added coat of finish. There is a 9-inch handle crack along with numerous cleat marks. Kiner shipping records show he favored this model but there is no mention of a 34" model sent to him during this era but in checking the Pirates team ordered records, there are several references in 1952 that call for shipments of assorted 34-35 inch bats of 60 bats per order.
