This vintage Nike poster has been described as the holy grail of Nike running posters. From 1978, it is best known as "The Battle of Atlanta". The Chuck Rogers image is from the finish line of the 1978 PEachtree 19K Run in Atlanta. The size of the poster is 22" x 36".
Finding posters from this era has become increasingly difficult, as most were taped or pinned up on the walls of high school & college athletes and fans.
This poster has never been displayed, and remained untouched in the original plastic packaging/tube.
