Offered is a 34", 39.5 ounce Ty Cobb H&B Louisville Slugger 40K store model baseball bat dating to circa the 1921-31 label period. Bat shows heavy use with deadwood throughout & remnants of the original Kork Grip. Due to the lack of the inch marks stamped on the knob by the factory, this bat can be considered a pro model bat The length of 34" is within an acceptable tolerance to documented Cobb gamers (typically ordered at 34.5") . The weight of 39.5 ounces is consistent with what Cobb ordered during his playing career. The heavy use found on this example cannot be attributed to Cobb. Affordable example of a Cobb pro model bat.
