Offered is a Washington Redskins helmet liklely dating to circa 1972-75. Riddell TAK29 label & 1972 date wheel stamping present inside helmet while exterior features number 65 decals affixed to the reverse. No player is listed on the Redskins regular season roster under number 65 for the 1972, 1973 or 1974 seasons with Dave Butz wearing the number from 1975 until 1988. Helmet is accompanied by a Heritage COA attributing it to Fred Sturt in 1974, though online sources & the Redskins team photo from 1974 show Sturt wearing number 63. Moderate wear shown with missing ear pads. (16R0667)
