Tom Seaver pitched a 2 hit, complete game shutout to pick up the win which represented his 189th of 231 career complete games, his 48th of 61 career shutouts and his 221st of 311 career wins. Ball is sealed in a bag with a Cincinnati Reds Collectors Certificate from 580 Gifts/News which reads "This certificate authenticates that the enclosed baseball is an official National League baseball which was actually used in the Cincinnati Reds game at Riverfront Stadium on the date indicated below.
