Offered is a professional model 256B Mark McGwire game used Rawlings Adirondack Big Stick dating to circa his 1997 season with the Oakland Athletics. McGwire has signed the barrel in black marker while his uniform number 25 is written on both the knob & barrel's end. Bat currently measures 34.5", weighs 33.5 ounces and shows heavy use with ball marks, bat rack marks, pine tar and grain swelling. While bat is stamped with a "90" production year on knob, it was originally donated to the Brewers Wives Auction by Laurel Prieb (husband of Wendy Selig-Prieb) as the bat used by McGwire when he hit career home run #341 off of Bob Wickman on May 5th, 1997.
