Offered is a professional model R43 Louisville Slugger dating to Andre Dawson's tenure with the Montreal Expos circa 1980-83. Dawson's uniform number 10 written on knob in black marker while Andre has signed the barrel along with a "Darren, Best Wishes" inscription. Bat currently measures 35", weighs 32 ounces and shows moderate use with ball marks, bat rack marks, light pine tar and a repaired handle crack. Bat receives 5 points for matching player records, 2 points for moderate use and 1 point for the player number on knob with a 1/2 point deduction for the repaired handle crack. MEARS A7.5.
