Steelers 2021 season 269 identifier applied to ball on panel below NFL Shield while Steelers Authentic Memorabilia hologram GU-117241 is also affixed along with an SAM card tied through the laces with the final game score. " How often have you seen a game used and photo matched Pittsburgh Steeler football that has been photo matched to Ben Roethlisberger and from 2021, his last season with the Steelers!! Never!! And this football was photo matched twice to Ben by the Pittsburgh Steelers themselves!!! There is a lot to see here.
First, this #269 football was purchased by me from the Steelers. I will include my invoice so there is no question of where I obtained it. This will show all of the details that I have mentioned here.
You will receive the COA from the Steelers authenticating that the football was used against the Las Vegas Raiders on September 19, 2021. A hologram has been affixed to the football confirming that this is indeed the correct football. The COA is also online so you can access it anytime on the Steelers' website. It's hologram # GU117241.
Also, the football has a tag that was affixed to the laces by the Steelers. It states the date and score of the game on a plastic "Steelers Authentic Memorabilia" tag. It's just another layer of authentication that the Steelers take to guarantee their equipment is authentic. In my many years of dealing with fake sports equipment, I welcome everything that the Steelers do.
Next are the photos that the Steelers used to photo match the football. These are online photos from the Steelers' website. The Steelers' photographers take the photos during games, practices, etc. When I bought the football, the person I was in contact with made it a very important point that all of the photos on their website are exclusive property of the Steelers, but that I can use the photos that they used to photo match the football to Ben Rothlisberger because along with buying the actual football, In other words, I have purchased the rights to the photos. This is a very big deal if you didn't already figure it out. I can't put the photo on a billboard, but I can use it in conjunction with the football as I am doing here.
The football is in great shape with excellent use shown. It holds air perfectly. There are quite a few marks on the football so photo matching it to more plays with Ben is certainly a possibility. Realize that the Steelers went through hundreds of photos just to get these two photo matches, however."
