After the Bulls lost in the playoffs during the 1994-1995 season, the team wanted to bring in a strong defender and rebounder. With a trade with San Antonio, Dennis Rodman was shipped to the Windy City. Although Rodman would wear a wedding dress, have multi colored hair, throw his jersey into the stands, and be surrounded by other acts of crazy behavior, Phil Jackson and Michael Jordan were able to rein “The Worm” in, and immediately, he brought a World Championship to Chicago.
Offered for this lot is a team issued 1996 Chicago Bulls NBA Finals shirt. Supplied by Champion, the first tag reads, “Designed & Tailored Exclusively For Chicago Bulls, Body Length +3”. The second, “Champion Size 46”.
A very historic shirt of a player that played a huge role in the success of the Chicago Bulls.
