Offered is a Rawlings first base mitt dating to the outset of Frank Thomas's professional career with the Chicago White Sox organization circa 1989-90. Date code of SEB01 stamped on thumb indicating glove was produced in January of 1989 while "Thomas 35" is written in black marker on the Rawlings tag. While Thomas did not make his Major League debut until August of 1990 he did play in the minor leagues for 72 games in 1989 & 109 games in 1990. Heavy use shown. (22X0098)
