Offered is a professional model Y30 Gossage Louisville Slugger dating to his 1988 season with the Chicago Cubs which has been signed on the barrel in black marker by Goose. Bat currently measures 34", weighs 30 ounces and shows heavy use with ball marks, stitch marks, bat rack marks, deadwood, pine tar, a slight handle crack and Goose's uniform number 54 written both on the knob and in the barrel's cupped end. Likely batting practice bat as Goose only came to the plate once in 1988. PSA/DNA hologram/LOA 1B12860. MEARS A8. (54D0139)
