Offered is a professional model K48 Lou Whitaker Louisville Slugger dating to his tenure with the Detroit Tigers circa 1986-89 which has been signed on the barrel in blue marker by Lou along with a "Best Wishes" inscription. Bat currently measures 34.5", weighs 31 ounces and shows heavy use with ball marks, stitch marks, bat rack marks, grain swelling, pine tar, a ring of handle tape and Lou's uniform number 1 written on both the knob & barrel's end.
