Offered is a circa 1980 Chicago Cubs home jersey which has been signed on the reverse numeral six by Hall of Fame closer Lee Smith along with a "Game Used 1980" inscription. Wilson size 44 tag sewn in collar with a strip reading "46 80 2 44" while "Cubs", number 46 and a team logo patch are also sewn to the blue pinstriped white knit pullover. Numeral 46 on reverse is not original to jersey, with the outline of previously applied numerals still visible. As such MEARS cannot attribute the wear to Lee Smith. (22X0176)
