Offered is a professional model Lou Whitaker game used Louisville Slugger dating to the five time All Star second sacker's tenure with the Detroit Tigers circa 1980-83. Model C243 is stamped on the signature barrel while Whitaker's uniform number 1 is written on the knob along with number 16, which was worn by Tom Brookens during this label period, written in black marker on both the knob and barrel's end. Bat currently measures 34", weighs 33 ounces and shows moderate use with ball marks, stitch marks and bat rack marks. Handle remains uncracked. (72Z0257)
