Offered is a professional model Ozzie Smith game used H&B Louisville Slugger dating to his rookie campaign with the San Diego Padres in 1978. Model S315 stamped on signature barrel while Ozzie's uniform number 1 is written on the knob in black marker. Smith has also signed the barrel in black marker along with a "1978 Rookie Gamer" inscription. Bat currently measures 34", weighs 30 ounces and shows heavy use with ball marks, stitch marks, pine tar and a 6" handle crack. Graded MEARS A9, minus 1 point for handle crack. (71Y0251)
