Offered is a Carl Yastrzemski professional model H&B Louisville Slugger team index bat from his time spent with the Boston Red Sox in the mid 1970's. Model number K48 is stamped on the knob along with signature model barrel and 1973-75 era H&B center brand.
This ash bat currently weighs 35 ounces, measures 34" in length and matches team index records with a regular knob and round barrel. It exhibits signs of heavy use with ball marks scattered throughout. The handle remains uncracked.
Bat receives 5 points for matching team index records and 3 points for use resulting in a final grade of MEARS A8.
