Offered is a professional model Luis Alvarado game used H&B Louisville Slugger dating to circa 1973-74 during which time he played for the Chicago White Sox (1973-74) and St. Louis Cardinals (1974). Model R161 stamped on knob along with Alvarado's uniform number 1 written in faded marker. Bat currently measures 34.5", weighs 32.5 ounces and shows heavy use with ball marks, pine tar, a taped knob, deadwood on the reverse of the barrel with a 6" section missing and a slight handle crack.
