Offered is an Oakland Athletics jersey likely dating to circa the 1970's. Jersey is constructed of white knit with "A's" and uniform number 5 sewn in yellow on green double tackle twill. No manufacturer label present, though the jersey measures 21" across the chest and 31" through the torso. The lack of manufacturer's tagging combined with the absence of a name on back nor signs one was ever present and trim which is inconsistent when compared to Oakland's on field jerseys of the era lead us to believe this jersey was possibly used by one of Oakland's minor league affiliates who also went by the name "A's" such as the Birmingham A's of the Southern League.
