Offered is a professional model Brock Davis game used H&B Louisville Slugger dating to the label period encompassing his time with the Chicago Cubs (1970-71) and Milwaukee Brewers (1972). Model D143 stamped on the knob along with number 1 written in black marker. None of Brock's major league teammates wore number 1 between 1970 & 1972 indicating likely use by Davis in the minor leagues. Bat currently measures 35", weighs 33 ounces and shows moderate to heavy use with ball marks, a 6" section of deadwood on the reverse of the barrel with separation and a 6" handle crack with separation.
