Offered are six different Marx figures issued to capture the romance of the wild west. Included are four figures from the 1968 Marx Fort Apache Fighters including General Custer, Geronimo, Capt. Maddox, Johnny West. In 1967 Marx issued both James and Janice West from the Johnny West series which is included in this lot.
Capt. Maddox Fort Apache Fighters in Box (2.5”x6.5”x12”): Box top is in excellent condition with no split seams and original price tag. Bottom box complete (EX). Complete with instructions. Pieces included are: caps (3), neckerchief, canteen, belt and holster, pistol, gloves to be placed over belt, spur (2), spur straps (2), rifle, blanket roll, sword, binoculars and case, map case, rifle sling, & bugle.
Geronimo Fort Apache Fighters in Box (2.5”x6.5”x12”): Box in VG condition with one split corner which has been repaired from the inside with black tape. Some wear to the edges of the box. Bottom box in VG condition with split to upper right corner. Missing instructions. 30 assorted accessories.
General Custer Apache Fighters in Box (2.5”x6.5”x12”): Listed on the side of the box as movable cavalryman and completely outfitted with changeable gear. Fully jointed, arms and legs bend, head & hands turn. He can sit, stand, kneel, crawl, and ride a horse! Top of box in in VG condition, two corners are split. Bottom box is complete with one corner split. Instructions included. Accessories included are: hats (3), canteen, neckerchief, belt & holster, pistol, gloves to be placed over belt, bugle, map case and strap, rifle strap, blanket roll, sword, binoculars and case, rifle strap.
Johnny West 101 Movable Positions in Box (2.5”x6.5”x12”): Top of box in good condition with splits to all four corners. Bottom of box EX. Complete with instructions. Pieces included are: sombrero, neckerchief, vest, cartridge belt and holster, pistol, derringer, connecting belt, chaps, spurs, strong box (lid separated), three sacks of gold, canteen, bowie knife, branding irons (2), rifle, coffee pot, coffee cup, frying pan.
Janice West “Johnny West Series” in Box (2”x4”x10”): Top of box in very good+ condition with split to one corner, bottom of box in excellent condition. Instructions included. Accessories included are: scarf, bandana, vest, shirt, shoulder strap and purse, belt, watch, hats (2), chin strap, compact.
James West “Johnny West Series” in Box (2”x4”x10”): Top of box complete and intact with rub to bottom right corner. Bottom of box complete and in excellent condition. Instructions included. Accessories included are: neckerchief, flat crown hat, vee crown hat, vest, chaps, connecting belt, belt with holster and sheath, knife, canteen, tether, pistol.
