MacArthur Lane was the 13th overall pick of the 1968 draft and he didn't disappoint the Cardinals with his inspired play.
From Lane's first taste of pro football is this size "48" Wilson-made durene jersey. When Lane was in year two, NFL teams used a 50th Anniversary patch and the following season names were placed on backs because of the AFL merger.
A heavy repair is found on front between the "3" and "6" which extends about 5". Each number is crafted in single-color white tackle twill. Ribbed material decorates both sleeve ends and elbow reinforcements add further cosmetics.
Applied in the tail is a Wilson Sports Equipment tag, size "48" flag tag and "SCD Authentic" hologram.
Lane signed the front "3" in black marker and "Mac Arthur Lane St. Louis Cardinals" is also written.
