Offered is a Chicago Bears road jersey dating to Gale Sayers tenure with the team circa 1966-68, for which he ran for 2,967 yards during the stretch. Manufactured by King O'Shea of white, road tear away fabric. The size 46 tag, appropriate for the era, is sewn to tail. Gale's uniform number 40 is sewn to the front, back and sleeves of the white durene jersey in navy over orange double tackle twill. Heavy wear shown with a few small fabric holes & game spot discoloration. Numerous holes and team repairs on reverse. MEARS A10. (43S0250)
