Offered is a professional model Sammy Taylor game used H&B Louisville Slugger dating to his tenure with the New York Mets circa 1962-63. Model R43 stamped on knpob along with Sammy's uniform number 16 written in faded marker. Bat currently measures 34.5", weighs 32 ounces and shows heavy use with ball marks, bat rack marks, handle tape, grain swelling/slight deadwood and a repaired handle crack. (97Y0060, 2620)
