Offered is a professional model Mickey Mantle Adirondack team index bat from the latter part of his Hall of Fame career with the New York Yankees. Model 288D is stamped on the knob while the barrel features a block letter Mantle Type stamping.

This ash bat currently weighs 29 ounces, measures 33.5" in length and matches known team index records with a regular knob and round barrel. Heavy use shown with ball marks, stitch marks, slight dead wood and handle tape. Handle remains visibly uncracked.

MEARS grades this bat as authentic. (E0555)
