Offered is a professional model H&B Louisville Slugger dating to the 1950-60 label period. Model L5 stamped on knob while "Koenig" is stamped on the barrel in block letters. Mark Koenig of the 1927 Yankees infamous Murderer's Row lineup played his final major league season in 1936 and it does not appear as though he had official involvement with baseball as a coach following his playing career, as such this bat was likely used by one of the numerous Koenigs who played in the minor leagues during the 1950's. Bat currently measures 34.5", weighs 38.5 ounces and shows heavy use with ball marks, stitch marks, bat rack marks and deadwood on the reverse of the barrel with separation. (80H0410)
