Janet Ann Gallow (born July 21st, 1937) is a child actor with a resume that reads like a “who’s who” of a Classic Era. Best remembered to Horror fans for her role as Cloestine in The Ghost of Frankenstein (1942) starring Bela Lugosi and Lon Chaney Jr. To honor this Universal Monster costar, on January 10th, 2015, the professional staff of the MEARS Pop Culture Division arranged a private signing with Janet at her home. Classic images of Lon Chaney Jr. as the Frankenstein Monster with “Cloestine” were perfectly signed in near mint blue sharpie marker. Matching trading cards and index cards closed out the signing.
