Offered is a like new 1940's era Diamond Brand store model first base mitt featuring a factory stamped signature from 1945 NL MVP Phil Cavarretta of the Chicago Cubs. Phil has also signed & inscribed the mitt twice with heavy bleeding. Mitt remains housed in it's original box with the Shapleigh's St. Louis Diamond Brand label still affixed & a more easily legible black marker autograph from Cavarretta.
