Offered is a 1936 high-grade, wonderfully-preserved medal presented to every participating athlete in the historic Berlin Summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the XI Olympiad. The medal was also presented to gold-medal-winning U.S. athlete Jesse Owens. Included is the box that originally housed the award when presented to the participating athlete. The two-piece box is extremely fragile, often separating at the seams from contact. The original red-orange and caramel patina on the medal's pristine surface provides an off-the-charts aesthetic. This gem is one of the finest you will ever see!
