This is a really unusual bat in that someone took the time to take a used baseball bat and then wood burned or carved the dates 1936-37 All Stars in the bat along with over 35 players from that time frame including Ott, Hubbell, Dickey, Jackson, Mungo and dozens of others. We can find no other way to describe this item other than early baseball folk art.
