Offered is one of the nicest condition Reach player models from this era that we have ever seen. Offered in the 1923-25 Reach catalog, this bat was made to Bancroft's specs. Beauty Bancroft was a member of several World Series teams including the 1915 Phillies, the 1921-23 New York Giants as well as the 1924-27 Braves and the 1928-29 Brooklyn Dodgers. Also, look at the weight on this one and try and figure out how many would be major league hopefulls would have ordered a bat that tipped the scales at over 40 oz. Would be hard to improve on this one.
