Offered is a monstrous 36.5", 40.5 ounce H&B Louisville Slugger 40BR store model bat dating to circa 1918-22 which features a facsimile George "Babe" Ruth barrel stamping. Heavy use shown with a cracked handle repaired with period nails, grain swelling/slight deadwood through the barrel, remnant of what appears to be a shipping label & faded side writing. (42R0021)
